From Sean Cockerham in Anchorage

Brooke Miles' retirement after Twenty five years with APOC has got the agency looking for a new executive director. Salary is $6,022 30 days.

You have to be an Alaska resident and have excellent interpersonal skills. It in all probability helps to enjoy chatting every day with folks like Ben Stevens, Dan Coffey, Ray Metcalfe, Allan Tesche and Lesil McGuire.

Here's their list of other qualifications.

And here's an AP story from January on Miles' retirement:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) The executive director of the Alaska Public Offices Commission is retiring.

Brooke Miles told the Alaska Public Radio Network that March 7th will likely be her final day at work.

It'll be as much as the fivemember commission to appoint her successor.

The state agency administers Alaska's disclosure statutes and publishes financial info on those activities of election campaigns, public officials, lobbyists and lobbyist employers.

APOC happens to be investigating whether political candidates accepted polls illegally taken care of from the nowdefunct VECO Corporation.

Convicted former executives testified in September which they provided about 100 with the illegal polls.

Miles continues to be with APOC for 25 years, the last seven as executive director.

I want to offer her credit for hanging in that room for Twenty five years. However, someone whose been with APOC with the long needs to have had forsight to realize that Alaska's "political environment" had changed adversely during the last number of years knowning that perhaps it was time to suggest that changes be manufactured to the State statutes. APOC should not be "if derive em, join em" agency. Alternatively, there's a reason and purpose for having agencies like APOC but you have to give them the instruments to do business with. Its a little bit past too far for the APOC though, since the corruption investigation has provided them a black eye. Its too bad that Brooke as well as the remaining APOC staff was without the tools which they needed. Because the corruption looks like it's going for a duration of its very own and spreading just like a virus, as Executive Director, I suppose Brooke is here to know her limitations.

but he can't do two fulltime jobs at the same time, fulltime senator and fulltime APOC head. Maybe begich could get it done. He claims they can do two fulltime jobs, senate candidate and mayor.

That's great proof it is all about him not Anchorage or Alaska. More important for him to remain in power as well as on the dole than boost the comfort and admit he's trying to find work full-time and can't be mayor too.

Just quit mark as well as perhaps you can put rubini stickers on your car and wear a tshirt regarding his name into it. For your, he'd probably help keep you in macaroni and cheese whilst you run.
