15 Alaska playwrights make Last Frontier cut
A staging of "The Sunset Clause" by Fairbanks playwright Ann Hanley at 2007's Last Frontier Theatre Conference.
From the recordbreaking pool of 270 submissions, just 62 plays were put to use, including works by Anchorage playwrights Linda Billington, Ryan Buen, Rita A. Miraglia, P. Shane Mitchell, Mark Muro, Casey Prout and Mark Stoneburner.
The conference schedule continues to be in flux, but there are intends to highlight another Anchorage playwright: On June 16, Three Wise Moose will perform Arlitia Jones' play "Sway Me Moon," which premiered in February at Out North.

I would like to encourage every theater artist and patron to participate in this conference. We have rearranged my schedule for on the dozen years to take in quite as much of becoming possible and still have didn't have it been lower than fantastic. The first choice for annual method of touching base with colleagues from outside the state, traversing to a week of shows, getting new ideas as well as in general recharging my artistic battery.
