My research question is this: Why did only section of America attack Upper and Lower Canada?
Well it seems like to not possess a clear explanation initially, however, when I needed dug to the facts a little, it became clear.
To start the British were engaged in the Napoleanic Wars so there would have been a blockade in position preventing invest France. The people who supported world war 2 were mainly the South and West of the usa. The South and West needed more land, also they thought that when they could wipe out the British incitement with the Indians they'd gain that land as well. Because the concept of invading spread, more and more representatives increased. These representatives were dubbed Hawks
The people which were from the invasion and war were mainly New Englanders who failed to wish to damage their trade relations by opposing Britain. They also didn't need to fight Britain, because it appears to be like these were helping France because Britain was engaged in war together too. The newest Englanders and Federalists held a secret meeting at Hartford Connecticut.
After the War was ended through the Treaty of Ghent, USA was unified by the victory at New Orleans, eliminate the War sealed the fate of the Federalists which never regained it power.
