Artists Through the Harlem Renaissance Beauford Delaney
Beauford Delaney was created in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1901. Beauford was drawn to art from an earlier age. His earliest drawings were copies of Sunday school cards and pictures from the family bible.
Delaney was educated at he the Massachusetts Normal School, the South Boston School of Art and also the Copley Society. He transferred to Ny in 1929 plus time, established himself like a popular part of the bohemianism from the art scene in the period.
